On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. It's majority Alliance but plenty of Horde stuff too.
RP servers are best, however recently there has been a bigger market for the rare mount farms (people wait for mount to spawn and then sell access to the shard its on for hundreds of thousands of gold), so you might end up getting competition wherever you go. Also keep in mind server location your ping will be better on a server located in the east if u live on east coast area 52 and illidan are better east zone areas and tichondrius is west coast server but u can still play on them regardless but will suffer usually 30 higher ping I live in east and play on a west coast server and ping is at 90ms ....
